Name of Assignment: Acellus Spanish 2
Subject: Virtual Elective 1 and 2 Facilitator/Teacher: Ms. Lindsey All of the Acellus assignments I have for Spanish 2 are all pretty small so I decide to combine them all into one section. Each lesson we learn a new set of vocabulary and how to use it in a sentence. Then after the lesson we take a short quiz on the material that was covered in the previous lesson. The 21st Century skill that I would best associate with this project is Communication, as Spanish helps you communicate in a lot more countries than English. I guess I’m proud that I’m learning new words that I can try and incorporate into a sentence. Just recently I’ve been able to say the term el aeropuerto correctly. I’ve always been able to speak a little bit of Spanish, but not enough to get me by. This year my knowledge is expanding and I hope that soon, I’ll be able to formulate sentences in complete Spanish. I guess it’s making sure that I have my week’s worth done on Acellus. Usually, I use my virtual periods to work on other work, but I always want to make sure that I’m doing well in the class. I probably wouldn’t do anything differently, I get good grades in the class because I take notes on the lessons. Last year, I took Spanish 1, and the first unit of Spanish 2 was a review of past vocabulary and terms. In the future, with more practice I can probably learn to speak enough Spanish that it will get me by in a Spanish speaking country. It will also help me understand what people are saying, and how I can respond back. |
